On this page

On WordPress and WooCommerce, Eric suggests his plugin. It puts the code on every page for you. In WordPress the plugin is called Meet Eric (EverConvert in versions before 1.2.1).

Install the plugin

  1. On Eric's install page, click Download the plugin.
  2. In WordPress go to Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin. Choose the file, then Install Now and Activate.
  3. In WordPress go to Settings, then Meet Eric, then Connect.
  4. Eric opens and asks you to confirm. Click Connect with your site's name, then Finish in WordPress.
  5. Once the plugin says Connected, Eric checks it is working by himself.
Note: Your own visits while you're logged in to WordPress as an admin aren't counted, but the check still works.

Paste the code yourself

  1. Open your admin: yourdomain.com/wp-admin.
  2. Use a header scripts plugin or the theme editor to add code to your site header.
  3. Paste the code site-wide, so it loads on every page. On WooCommerce, make sure it loads on shop, cart and checkout.
  4. Save and come back to Eric.

Problems

If Eric says "This link from WordPress isn't complete", go back to Settings, Meet Eric (or EverConvert on an older version of the plugin) in WordPress and press Connect again. If pages look unchanged, clear your caching plugin's cache.
