Google Search Console
Connect Search Console so Eric sees what people search for before they reach your site.
How-to guide · Last updated 27 October 2026
Eric reads the search queries Google reports for one of your Search Console sites. He does not change anything in Search Console.
Connect Search Console
- Sign in to Eric. You need to be the owner of the business, or someone who Can change things.
- Open Connections from the menu on the left.
- Click the Connect your analytics row, then the Connect your analytics button inside it.
- Pick Google Search Console from the list.
- Your browser goes to a secure connection page and then to Google Search Console's own sign-in. Sign in and approve read access.
- You come back to Connections. Eric tells you what he can now read, or asks you one question to finish.
If one site matches, Eric picks it. Otherwise a box asks Which site is yours in Search Console? A domain property shows as The whole domain. When it works you see "Reading searches for … I'll check them every day."
To pick a different site later, click Change next to Search Console on Connections.
No sites listed
"This Google login can't read any sites in Search Console" means the Google account you used has no access. Click Use a different login, confirm, and sign in with the Google account that manages your site's Search Console.
Disconnect or reconnect Google Search Console
- Open Connections from the menu on the left (under Setup).
- Click the Connect your analytics row to open it. Google Search Console is listed with its status.
- Click Disconnect next to Google Search Console. Eric says what will happen; click Disconnect again to confirm, or Keep it.
- To connect again, click Add another (or Connect your analytics if nothing else is connected there) and pick Google Search Console.
