Cookies.

We use no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers and no cross-site profiling. What is stored is a small number of identifiers with no meaning outside the site that set them — and this page lists every one of them.

The short version

  • Our own site keeps you signed in and remembers the website you last asked Eric about. That is all.
  • The tracking tag on a customer’s site stores two random numbers so three page views can be read as one journey. No name, no email, no IP address.
  • Nothing is shared with an advertising network or a data broker, because we have none.

On our own site

WhatWhyHow long
Sign-in sessionTo keep you signed in to your workspace. Strictly necessary for a service you asked for, so it does not need consent.Until you sign out, or the session expires
The website you last asked aboutStored in your own browser so the start page can offer “continue with that site” instead of making you type it again. Never leaves your device unless you submit it.Until you clear your browser storage or choose a different website
Theme and interface preferencesTo remember how you like the product to look.Until cleared

We do not run analytics, advertising pixels or session recording on our own marketing pages, so there is no consent banner to click through.

On a site with the Eric tag installed

If you arrived here from a business that uses Eric, this is what their site stored. That business decides whether the tag runs on you; we hold the data for them.

NameWhat it isHow long
ec_vidA random visitor number so return visits join up into one story. It is not a name, it is never matched across other businesses’ sites, and it means nothing anywhere else.Up to 12 months
ec_sidA random session number, so several page views count as one visit.30 minutes of inactivity

These are measurement identifiers, not strictly necessary ones. Under PECR that means the site owner needs consent before the tag runs where consent is required. The tag can be held behind a consent tool, and the privacy notice explains how.

Refusing or removing it

  • Use the consent banner on the site you are visiting, if it has one — declining measurement stops the tag running.
  • Clear cookies and site data in your browser settings, which removes both identifiers.
  • Browse in a private window, or turn on the browser’s tracking protection. Nothing here depends on being able to follow you.
  • Ask the business whose site you visited to delete your rows, or write to support@everconvert.ai and we will find and delete them.

Refusing costs you nothing. Their website works exactly the same either way.

Cookies we do not control

When you connect a tool such as Slack, Google or Shopify, that company sets its own cookies during its own sign-in screens. Those are theirs and are covered by their notices, not this one.
