Acceptable use.

The websites you connect

• Only install the tracking tag on a site you own or are authorised to act for.
• Do not install it on a site whose visitors have not been told they are measured.
• Do not use it to track individuals rather than to understand journeys.

The data you send

• No special category data — health, ethnicity, religion, politics, sex life, trade union membership, biometrics or genetics.
• No data about children, and no use of Eric on sites aimed at under-16s.
• No personal data you have no lawful basis to hold, and no purchased or scraped lists.
• No payment card numbers, passwords or government identity numbers, in any field or message.

Messaging people

• Only message people who have opted in, and honour every stop or unsubscribe immediately.
• Follow WhatsApp’s and Twilio’s own policies; they can and do cut off senders who do not.
• No unsolicited marketing, no misleading sender identity, and nothing that pretends to be a human if asked.

What Eric must not be used for

• Anything illegal, fraudulent, deceptive or designed to manipulate someone into a decision they would not make informed.
• Harassment, hate, threats, or content that is obscene or harmful to others.
• Selling regulated goods where you lack the licence to sell them.
• Generating claims about results or outcomes you cannot evidence.

The service itself

• Do not attack, probe, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or work around its limits or quotas.
• Do not resell access, share one account across separate businesses, or use it to build a competing product.
• Do not attempt to reach another workspace’s data, or to get Eric to reveal it.
• Do not automate the interface in place of an agreed interface. If you need volume or an API, ask — we would rather raise a limit than have you route around one.

Security researchers are welcome. Report anything you find to support@everconvert.ai before disclosing it, do not access other people’s data while testing, and we will not pursue you.

What happens if this is broken

Usually we ask you to stop, and that is the end of it. Where there is a risk to someone’s data, to a platform we depend on, or to the service standing up, we may suspend the account or a single connection first and explain afterwards. Serious or repeated breaches end the account, and we may be required to report unlawful activity to the authorities.

If you think something has been suspended wrongly, reply to the email that told you and a person will look at it again.
