Approvals and Autopilot
What Eric does alone, what always needs your yes, and how to pause him.
Explanation · Last updated 27 October 2026
Eric doesn't change your website, your ads or your funnels without a yes from the owner or someone who Can change things.
How much Eric can do alone
Open Autopilot in the menu. It applies everywhere: in the app, in Slack, Teams and WhatsApp.
| Setting | What it means |
|---|---|
| Tell me, don't act | Eric tells you what he finds and does nothing else. |
| Ask before anything goes live | The default. Eric prepares changes and waits for your yes. |
| Get on with the small stuff | Not available during the beta. Eric says: "Autopilot is switched off during the beta, so I'll ask you before any change." |
Only the owner can change this setting.
Pause Eric
On Autopilot, turn on Pause me. Eric keeps watching and keeps telling you things, but doesn't act on anything without you.
What Eric does after you say yes
- If a change measures worse, he puts your original back by himself, and tells you.
- If you approved something that has to wait (for example another test is on that page), he starts it when the page is free.
- When a change wins, he keeps it for everyone, unless he asks you first.
Waiting for you
Decisions waiting for you are listed on Waiting for you, reached from Today (Take a look →). Each shows the current wording and Eric's suggestion, with Show me first, Start the test, Start cautiously at 10% and Not now.
