Invite people and choose what they can do
Invite your team or agency, the three levels of access, and how to change or remove someone.
How-to guide · Last updated 27 October 2026
On this page
Everyone who can sign in to a business is listed on People (in the menu, under Setup).
Levels of access
| Level | Can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including buying credits, changing Autopilot, handing the business over and deleting it. One per business. |
| Can change things | Approve, preview, start and undo changes, connect tools and channels, add websites, and invite, change or remove people (not the owner). Can spend credits but not buy them. |
| Can only look | See everything and ask Eric questions. Can't approve or change anything. |
If someone without the right level tries, Eric says: "You can see everything here, but changes are for an owner or an admin. Ask whoever runs this account." For owner-only actions: "That one is the owner's decision."
Invite someone
- Open People.
- Under Invite someone, type their email address.
- Choose Can change things or Can only look.
- Click Invite.
They get a link that works for 7 days and only for their email address. Nothing is shared until they accept. If Eric couldn't send the email, he gives you a link with Copy link to send yourself.
Invitations waiting to be accepted are listed under Invited, not yet accepted. Click Send again to send it again (this restarts the 7 days), or the × to take an invitation back (no confirmation).
Accept an invitation
Open the link and click Accept and join (or Sign in to accept / Create account to accept). You must use the email address the invitation was sent to.
Working with an agency
During setup Eric asks "Do you work with an agency, consultant or external team?" Click Yes, give them access and enter their email. They join with Can change things, marked as your agency. You can change or remove that on People at any time.
An agency can also invite you: you get a link saying the agency invited you to Meet Eric. The business is yours, and the agency can see and work in it.
Change someone's level
On People, use the level menu on their row. Ownership can't be given this way; see Hand a business over.
Remove someone
On People, click the bin icon on their row. It happens straight away, with no confirmation. They lose access at once, here and in every chat Eric is in, and their WhatsApp number is unlinked from the business.
Requests to join
If someone tries to add a website your business has already proven as its own, they appear under Asked to join. Choose Let them change things, Let them look, or No. Nothing changes until you decide.
Decisions in chat
In Slack, Teams or WhatsApp, only people on this list can approve changes. If Eric can't tell who pressed a button, he says "Before I act on that, I need to know it's you." and sends a private link to confirm.
