Google Tag Manager
Add Eric through the Google Tag Manager container your site already runs, plus the one line Tag Manager can't add.

If your site already loads Google Tag Manager, Eric suggests adding his code through it. It works whatever your site is built on.
First: the one line Tag Manager can't add
Tag Manager loads too late to change a headline before anyone reads it. So the first line of Eric's code goes straight into your site's own <head>, as high as it will go. Eric shows it in a card called One line Tag Manager can't add. Click Copy this line and paste it into your site's header.
Option 1: Sign in with Google
Eric offers this when it is available for your site. He signs in to the Tag Manager container your site loads, adds one tag in a workspace of his own, and publishes it.
- Click Sign in with Google and sign in with the Google account that manages your Tag Manager container.
- Approve access. Eric only asks for Tag Manager access, and doesn't keep it once the tag is in.
- Wait a few seconds. You see "Putting myself in through Tag Manager…" then "I'm in."
If someone else's changes are waiting to go live in the container, Eric doesn't publish theirs. He leaves his tag ready and says "Almost there. The last click is yours." Click Open Tag Manager to publish and publish it yourself.
Exactly what Google is asked for is listed on our Privacy page.
Option 2: Import a file
- Click Download the Tag Manager file.
- In Tag Manager, go to Admin, then Import Container.
- Choose the file and your existing workspace, then Merge, renaming anything that clashes.
- Submit, then Publish.
Option 3: Add it by hand
- Paste the first line into your site's own
<head>(see above). - Open your container in Google Tag Manager: the one this site loads.
- Create a new tag: Tags, then New. Tag type: Custom HTML. Triggering: All Pages.
- Paste the code Eric shows into the HTML box, then Save.
- Click Submit, then Publish. Nothing goes live until you publish.
In Tag Manager, Eric's tag and workspace are named Meet Eric. If you added Eric before 28 October 2026, they are named EverConvert.
Come back to Eric. He checks by himself; see Check the tracking code is working.
