Test results

How Eric tells you a test result, what happens to the change, and how to overrule him.

Explanation · Last updated 27 October 2026

On this page

Eric tells you how a test went in plain words, in the chat where you started it. A test ends when the numbers settle, or by the end date Eric gave you, whichever comes first. While it runs he may check in, for example "2 weeks into the test on your pricing page… Nothing for you to do."

The four outcomes

Eric saysWhat it meansWhat happens to the change
"That change worked."More people did the thing Eric counts with his version.Usually kept for everyone. Eric may ask first: "Keep it for everyone?"
"That change made things worse."Fewer people did it with his version.Eric puts your original back by himself.
"No clear difference from that change."Both did about the same.Your original is usually put back.
"Never enough people to tell."Too few people came to tell the two apart.Eric tells you what he did and why.

Each result shows the numbers for both sides, such as how many people saw each version and how many carried on. Open The full working link to see the detail.

Note: When Eric counts clicks, a win means more clicks, not proof of more sales. He says so.

Overrule Eric

You know your business. On a result, press It worked or It didn't to record your view. While a test is still split and waiting for you, choose Keep it, Put it back, or Stop and change it to put the page back and give Eric new wording.

On a test's page in the app you can also click Keep my version for everyone or Put the page back.

On WhatsApp

If the 24-hour window has closed, Eric sends a short result notice: the result, what the page is now, and "Reply UNDO within 24 hours to reverse it."
