Connect Salesforce so Eric can follow leads and opportunities after the form.

How-to guide · Last updated 27 October 2026

On this page

Eric reads your Salesforce leads and opportunities. He only runs read queries and does not change anything in Salesforce.

Before you start

  • A Salesforce login that can see the leads and opportunities for this business.
  • In Eric, you need to be the owner or someone who Can change things.

Connect Salesforce

  1. Sign in to Eric. You need to be the owner of the business, or someone who Can change things.
  2. Open Connections from the menu on the left.
  3. Click the Connect your CRM row, then the Connect your CRM button inside it.
  4. Pick Salesforce from the list.
  5. Your browser goes to a secure connection page and then to Salesforce's own sign-in. Sign in and approve read access.
  6. You come back to Connections. Eric tells you what he can now read, or asks you one question to finish.

The connection page asks for a subdomain and an endpoint. As Eric says under Salesforce: "Leave both as they are and press Connect. I find your real instance after you sign in."

Disconnect or reconnect Salesforce

  1. Open Connections from the menu on the left (under Setup).
  2. Click the Connect your CRM row to open it. Salesforce is listed with its status.
  3. Click Disconnect next to Salesforce. Eric says what will happen; click Disconnect again to confirm, or Keep it.
  4. To connect again, click Add another (or Connect your CRM if nothing else is connected there) and pick Salesforce.
Important: Disconnecting Salesforce stops Eric reading it and deletes what he had already read from it. Connecting again reads the history again from the start.
