How credits work
What uses credits, what is free, your free credits, and where to see your balance.
Explanation · Last updated 27 October 2026
Eric runs on credits. You only spend them when Eric does certain pieces of work, and he tells you what a piece of work costs, in credits, before he starts. There is no subscription, no seat fee and no minimum term.
Free credits
- Every new account starts with 500 free credits.
- There are 25 free credits every day towards looking into findings. They don't roll over.
Free credits are always spent before anything you paid for.
What uses credits
| Work | Credits |
|---|---|
| Looking into a finding | 25 |
| A fix or a test going live on your page | 75 |
| A morning report for one website of its own | 5 a morning |
| Checking a website for changes every hour | 10 a day |
A fix or a test is charged once, when it goes live, and the same if you make a change yourself from Eric's brief and tell him it's in. Keeping a winning test for everyone costs nothing more. Your free daily credits can't pay for it.
If the change fails, or your page changes so that visitors can't be shown it, the credits come back. A test that ran and lost is not refunded: the work was done.
What is free
Watching your website, reading it once a day for changes, spotting findings, writing a fix or a test for you to look at, previews, answering your questions, and the weekly report.
