Sign in and passwords
Sign in with Google or email, confirm your email, reset your password, and fix common sign-in problems.
How-to guide · Last updated 27 October 2026
You can sign in with Google, or with your email address and a password. There is no phone sign-in.
- Go to meeteric.ai/login.
- Click Continue with Google, or type your email and password and click Sign in with email.
New to Eric? Click New to Eric? Start here. Accounts are created when you save your first website; see the Quickstart.
Confirm your email
If you signed up with email, Eric sends a confirmation link. Open it in any browser. If it expired, sign in with your email and password; when Eric says your email isn't confirmed, click Send me a new link and open the newest email from Meet Eric.
Set or reset your password
- On the sign-in page, type your email and click Set or reset my password.
- Open the link in the email. It works once and not for long.
- Click Continue to set my password.
- Type a new password of at least 8 characters twice, then click Save my password.
Sign out
Click your email address at the top right, then Sign out. On the Your account page the same button is called Log out.
Sign-in problems
| You see | What to do |
|---|---|
| "That email and password don't match." | Check for typos. If you never set a password, use Set or reset my password. |
| "Your email hasn't been confirmed yet." | Use the link in the email, or click Send me a new link. |
| "Too many attempts just then." | Wait a minute and try again. |
| "You are inside …'s browser. Google sign-in does not work here." | You opened the link inside an app such as a mail or social app. Use email and password, or open the page in Safari or Chrome. |
| "That link has expired or was already used." | Sign in with email and password, and ask for a new link if Eric says your email isn't confirmed. |
| "That password has shown up in a data breach elsewhere." | Choose a different password. |
| "New accounts are closed at the moment." | Sign-ups are paused. Ask us or try again later. |
